Harry Moore is an internationally recognised Strategic Consultant and Turnaround Director, operating from offices in London, Berlin and Beverley Hills. He works in both advisory and interim management roles. He is strong in scenarios requiring management change and leadership. He has a focus on board mentoring and succession planning with family businesses. His Turnaround work includes Romag Group Ltd, HunterPrint plc, Silver Cross Prams, Midland Red Engineering amongst others. He is recognised for his leadership skills and has managed a number of businesses of up to 1,000 employees in size. His Turnaround projects include a large business losing £1.5m per month, where he acted as interim MD and recovered cash flow in six months and another manufacturer with severe market issues where he revitalised sales, negotiated new contracts and turned it into profit prior to selling.

Harry thrives in situations where there is a need to implement dynamic change, meet challenges, achieve objectives and improve effectiveness in real terms. He designed and managed the East Midlands Business Recovery Scheme, which he persuaded the UK Government to fund. The project resulted in saving 135 businesses and recovering £35m of unpaid taxes. He set up similar programmes across the UK. He also developed and ran a UK government initiative to assist family businesses throughout England and worked with Coutts Bank as an adviser to their family businesses, his particular area of expertise being succession planning and personal development plans.in London and Berlin Through this scheme, Harry and his team interviewed and advised over 225 family businesses.

As well as being Principal with both KPMG and PwC, where he led turnaround teams he has held senior board level appointments in a number of companies as outlined below. He is currently Senior Partner - Head of Europe for NMS Consulting Inc.

Harry and his wife Gail also founded the Rainbows Children’s Hospice, The Laura Centre, a bereavement counselling service for those affected by the death of a child and children affected by death and COPE, the children’s cancer charity. He is a published author and has received an MBE from Her Majesty the Queen and a honorary doctorate from the University of Loughborough as well as two Beacon Fellowship Awards.
